Aknashen Speech Children, Multipurpose Classrooms
The Aknashen School for Children with Speech Disabilities works with children in the surrounding villages to rid them of their potential life-long speech impediments. The School operates from a building given to them by the Village authorities. The additional of two multipurpose classrooms would allow the children to have an appropriate space to engage in the creative arts and physical education and other therapeutic activates.

Girls Leadership and Empowerment
The role of women in Armenia, especially in rural areas remains a traditional one. Future female leaders are currently held back by a lack of information and opportunities concerning career options, life options, and leadership development as well as a culturally induced lack of support for strong, enterprising women. The GLOW Girls Leadership and Empowerment Project focuses on helping 50 teen girls from throughout Armenia's regions overcome these obstacles through a 7-day summer program and a 12-month leadership program. $7,200 is needed to complete the funding of this project for one year.

Buy a horse
The Association of Hippotherapy and Equestrian Sports Centaur NGO provides rehabilitation for physically and mentally disabled children and adults through hippotherapy, horseback riding and equestrian sports, as well as health and recreation services. Centaur hippotherapy center needs to purchase a horse that was trained and currently is used by the Centaur team in its work. The horse, Jeffa, is one of the eight horses Centaur uses for hippotherapy and horseback riding.

Armenian Young Reporters

This three-year project will train hundreds of children throughout Armenia in all aspects of multimedia utilizing Manana's award winning staff and teaching skills.

Side-by-Side
Side-by-Side is a mentorship program adopted from Big Brothers Big Sisters model that aims to enhance youth's psychological, social, and academic growth, while at the same time, keeping them away from risky activities. Side-by-Side will match carefully selected young, local professionals with at-risk youth for one year. Mentors and mentees will spend one-on-one time twice a month and participate in monthly group activites, which will promote volunteerism through community service.
